The author is an Indian Police Service officer. He is presently serving in Uttar Pradesh as Inspector General of Police, Lucknow Range, and has earlier worked with the Central Bureau of Investigation and INTERPOL. He completed his B.Tech from the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, and his M.Tech from IIT Madras.
